Description: The RN Cath Lab is responsible for providing pre and post procedural care for patients undergoing catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting pre-procedure assessments. The role involves managing vascular access and device implant sites such as radial, femoral, IJ, and device pockets. Administering medications as needed is also an essential duty. The RN will assist with cardioversions and monitor vital signs and ECGs throughout the procedures. Additionally, the RN provides post-procedure discharge education to ensure patients understand their care.
