Experience as a Cath Lab nurse
Moderate sedation experience
Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in the cardiac cath lab.
The unit has a total of 5 recovery beds and 2 cath labs.
Patient ratios are 2:1 in recovery and 1:1 in the cath lab.
Staffing includes registered nurses and cath lab technicians.
Key equipment used includes MacLab, balloon pump, Impella, and Boston IVUS/FFR.
Documentation systems utilized are MacLab and Meditech.
Call is required for this position.
Floating to other units is not required.
Advanced skills in heart catheterization, peripheral procedures, and device insertion are needed.
