Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cardiac Cath Experience - CRM & PV Experience Description: This position is within a Level II Trauma Center. The cardiac cath lab features 5 procedure suites. Staffing includes 1 Director, 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 technicians. The typical patient ratio is 1 patient to 3-4 staff members. Equipment used includes Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator. Electronic Medical Records are managed using MacLab and Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Diagnostic and Interventional Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular procedures, Pacemakers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, and Electrophysiology/ABL. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays on rotation with hospital employees. This is a competitive market, and any additional information about new equipment or technology, as well as the tenure and experience of the staff, can help attract talent.
