Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,496 per week in Bradenton, FL

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Cardiac Cath, CRM & PV Experience Description: This is a Level II Trauma Center with a total bed capacity of 383. The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 5 procedure suites. The staff includes a Director, a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, 4.6 staff RNs, and 5 technicians. Patient ratios are 1 patient to 3-4 staff members. The lab is equipped with Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, and Rotoblator. The electronic medical record systems in use are MacLab and Meditech. Typical procedures performed include Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization, Peripheral Vascular procedures, Pacemakers, Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs), Watchman, TAVR, and Electrophysiology/Ablation. Staffing policies require the traveler to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. This position offers an opportunity to work with new equipment and technology, alongside a team with significant experience. The unit prioritizes collaboration and support among its team members for optimal patient care.
