Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,499 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: RN - Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab hospital acute care experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must have current Cath Lab hospital acute care experience. Candidates must possess BLS & ACLS certifications. Description: This position is for an RN in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The unit consists of a 3-room Cath Lab. The staff includes 10 full-time personnel. Day shift operates from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call responsibilities during the week and on weekends. Patient ratios depend on staffing, typically consisting of 1 tech and 2 RNs or 2 RNs and 1 tech. The call burden is approximately 8-10 days per month. This is a dedicated Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab, with no interventional radiology services. Candidates with Electrophysiology experience and coronary and peripheral experience will be given preference. Typical procedures performed in the lab include coronary and peripheral angiograms and interventions, as well as device implants. The ideal candidate should be easy-going and willing to be flexible with scheduling and call duties. New equipment and technology may be available in this unit, enhancing the work environment.
