Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,506 per week in Denver, CO

Job Title: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 9.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital Cath Lab RN experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Candidates must have scrubbing experience. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This position is for an RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The working hours are from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM. The unit includes 3 holding bays and 2 cath suites. The staff consists of 9 members. The patient ratio is 3 staff to 1 patient in the procedural area. Equipment used includes GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed in this unit include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, PCI, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, pacemakers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests. Candidates with holding experience and monitoring experience will be preferred. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, flexibility, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. The position requires 1-2 on-call shifts per week and about every third weekend. Candidates must be able to reside within 30 minutes of the unit.
