Job Title: RN Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:30 AM - 07:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: MD or compact state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum 3 years of experience - Experience in pre, intra, and post cardiac procedure care for left and right heart catheters, PCI (primary and elective), IABP, Lithotripsy, Atherectomy, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemakers, TEE, CV, dobutamine stress echos, conscious sedation administration, CRM device implants, EP studies, and ablations Description: Cath Lab RN needed with a MD or compact state license. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Responsibilities include pre, intra, and post cardiac procedure care. Skills required involve left and right heart caths, PCI (primary and elective), IABP, Lithotripsy, and Atherectomy. Experience with pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemakers, TEE, CV, and dobutamine stress echos is essential. Conscious sedation administration and CRM device implants experience are also required. Knowledge of EP studies and ablations is necessary. The unit operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Staffing typically includes 6-7 nurses for pre/post and intra and 4-5 CCL techs. EP is performed only on certain days of the week. On-call is required, with a response time of within 30 minutes to the facility. Weekend on-call rotation occurs every fourth weekend, with weeknight on-call varying.
