TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37211!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Invasive cardiology scrub experience (monitor experience preferred) Description: The Registered Nurse must be able to scrub procedures. The unit is a 125-bed facility with a patient ratio of 1:1. There are unit secretaries and techs available for staffing. The type of equipment used includes GE core equipment. The documentation system utilized is Mac Lab and Meditech. Scheduling requirements include Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, with on-call duties every other week. The floating policy includes non-invasive, invasive, and interventional radiology, as specified in the contract. Patient experience requirements include preferred experience in the field. Procedures performed on the unit include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, and percutaneous coronary intervention, among others. The facility is a 24-hour STEMI center. Implants performed include Loop recorders, Permanent Pacemakers, and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators. Specialty equipment available includes Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Optical Coherence Tomography, Intravascular Ultrasound, and Fractional Flow Reserve. The unit has received accreditation in various areas, including chest pain and primary stroke care. The department has received accolades for safety and employee engagement, maintaining a score of over 90% for over two years. The dress code requires red or black scrubs, or hospital-laundered blue scrubs. There are no specific unit policies and guidelines attached.
