Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9.5 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cath Lab License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Required; CCI RCIS Preferred Must-Have: Experience with EPIC Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Essential certifications and skills are required. This position offers normal business hours with call required. Schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with call required. Call is one night a week and every fourth weekend. To be determined depending on skill set. Patient diagnoses include AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, and PVD. Unit details include diagnostic Cath Lab and PCI procedures. Special equipment used includes Impella, IABP, temporary pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR. Additional requirements include activated clotting time monitoring, angioplasty, and assistance with central line insertion. Candidates must have experience in cardiac stent placement, electrophysiology, and procedural sedation monitoring. Candidates should be proficient in obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG and managing patients with dysrhythmias. Team collaboration will involve working with interdisciplinary support services. We value candidates who can ensure patient safety and provide quality care throughout procedures. Professional references will be required for verification of qualifications.
