Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: EP/Cath experience required Description: The Cath Lab RN will work in an acute care hospital setting. Shifts are 4 days a week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. However, the shift may vary depending on when procedures are complete. The patient-to-nurse ratio is set at 1:1. Weekend and on-call requirements apply. Call duties include one weekend shift per month and one weekday call shift each week. Travelers will not be floated between service lines or to sister facilities. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Experience in Electrophysiology and Cath Lab procedures is mandatory. Any orientation or training requirements will be discussed upon offer. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application. Priority is given to candidates with a valid state license in hand. Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the system for one year before returning as travelers. Please ensure all required documentation is prepared prior to start date compliance.
