**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Travel RN in Cardiac Cath Lab
- **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (variable days)
- **Location:** Smyrna, TN
- **Unit Name:** Cardiac Cath Lab
- **Cost Center:** 76200
**Unit Specifics:**
- 115 Total Beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 in the Cath Lab
- Staffing: 5-6 staff per day, including 3 person Cath and call teams
- Equipment: GE x-ray, Alaris pumps
- Documentation System: Merge Hemo and Meditech
- Scheduling: 8 days of weekday call, up to 6 days of weekend call per month, with 4x10hr shifts
**Floating Policy:**
- Radiologic Techs with other modality experience may float to Imaging (IR, XR, CT, MRI).
- RNs cover Cardiology patients in Non-invasive, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine.
- No floating in the rest of the hospital for any staff.
**Requirements:**
- 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred in a community hospital/mixed IR & Cath lab setting.
- **Must have:**
- Cath Lab experience (diagnostic and PCIs)
- Monitor experience (all)
- Circulating, sedation (RN)
- Scrubbing (Tech)
- **Advanced Skills:**
- IR, Specials, Vascular procedures
- **Procedures Performed:**
- Left and right heart caths, PCI (Type A, B1, some B2 lesions, NO Type C)
- Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, Boston Polaris (FFR and IVUS), Abbott Illumien FFR
**Certifications Required:**
- RN Licensure
- ARRT or RCIS
**Dress Code:**
- Required uniform: Red top and bottom scrubs OR Black top and Red bottoms. Ceil blue ok.
