Description:
The unit has three cath labs and typically operates with 10-11 staff members per day.
Staffing includes a mix of RNs and cardiovascular technologists during the day shift.
The patient ratio is three staff members per room.
The unit is equipped with GE X-ray and MacLab technology.
Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella insertion, balloon-pump usage, peripheral cases, and complex PCIs.
Devices may sometimes be used as well.
Ideal candidates will possess an easy-going, kind, and friendly demeanor.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment is essential.
Professionalism and punctual attendance are vital for this role.
Candidates should be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes for call-backs.
On-call duties may be required on some weekends and weekdays.
