Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,699 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab Description: This position is in a cardiac catheterization laboratory. The lab has 3 catheterization rooms. There are 10-11 staff members working per day. The staff consists of a mix of registered nurses and cardiovascular technologists. The patient-to-staff ratio is 3 staff members per room. Equipment used includes GE X-ray and MacLab. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Preferred candidates will have experience working in a high-volume lab and handling complex cases. Typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, Impella placements, balloon-pump uses, peripheral cases, and complex PCIs. Occasional procedure device placements may also be performed. Ideal candidates should be easy-going, kind, and friendly. The ability to work in a fast-paced and busy environment is essential. Professionalism and attendance are vital for this role. Candidates must be able to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back. On-call duties may be required on some weekends and weekdays.
