Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,716 per week in Portland, OR

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience required License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, central venous access, procedural sedation, and various cardiac interventions. Description: This position requires floating between units as needed. On-call duty is required on weekdays and weekends. Weekend shifts are not mandatory. Block scheduling is not required. The expected patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates must possess Cath Lab experience. A vehicle is necessary for this assignment. Travelers may float to other units based on skills and facility needs. Incentives apply for floating to specific facilities. Additional accommodations may be provided for floating shifts. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a patient census of 21. Patients are primarily adults and geriatrics. Daily visits average 21 with 7 procedure rooms available. Charting is performed using Epic. The scrub color is flexible; specific attire will be provided for Cath Lab. Medical staff will work with interdisciplinary teams for patient support. Duties include monitoring patient conditions and administering emergency medications during cardiac procedures. Candidates are expected to manage patient care using advanced medical techniques and technologies. Must commit to working three out of five designated holidays during assignment. References will be required prior to start of employment. Candidates will be responsible for any costs associated with communication devices needed for the role. Inflexibility or refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Failure to meet requirements may affect eligibility for the position.
