Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift Hours per Shift: 5 staff per shift Experience: Preferred acute care facility experience License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: CPR or BLS certification required Must-Have: AHA-ACLS required Description: Centrally located within the heart of California. We serve the community and provide primary and specialty care services. The region offers a variety of opportunities for all-season outdoor recreation. It is also within an hour's travel time to multiple national parks. The area boasts a great cost of living and close-knit communities. Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and professional discretion. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation. Collaborates with the team of patients, families, and healthcare providers. Provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members. Directly provides health information to patients, families, and the treatment team. Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Committed to the safety and wellbeing of all associates and patients.
