Description:
This position is in a cardiac catheterization lab.
The unit has a 9-bed pre and post area with currently one cath lab.
There are typically 5 to 6 staff per day, including a charge nurse, RCIS, and nursing staff for elective cases.
Night shifts are not applicable for this role.
The patient ratios are not applicable.
The type of equipment used includes Mac Lab and Philips C arm.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) are managed using CPOE.
Typical procedures performed in the unit include heart catheterizations and pacemaker insertions.
Scrubs are provided by the facility.
