Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience required. Cerner experience required. Description: Position/Specialty: Cath Lab RN Schedule: 3x12 days (0630-1900) Average Daily Census: 25. 5-room unit. Weekend requirements: Will work 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call requirement: Yes, as needed. First-timers accepted. Candidates must float within scope to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedules; discuss requests with management. RTO restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Client may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for cancelled hours. If candidates are called off more than permitted, client will be billed for any shifts cancelled in excess. If placed on call instead of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift. Required cardiac cath lab procedure experience: Circulating procedures, diagnostic catheterizations for adults, left heart catheterization, Pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization. Required medication experience: Procedural sedation administration and monitoring. Required professional skills/experience: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, monitoring procedural sedation. Patient age groups: Adults and geriatrics. Daily census: 25. Number of visits per day: 25. Candidates must ensure compliance needs are completed in a timely manner. Candidates must complete the full assignment with no attendance or behavior issues. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or nearby affiliates. Candidates are encouraged to verify all required certifications based on unit description. Experience required for the position is specified. Background policy to be noted prior to offer. Candidates must be away for a specified duration before applying as travelers. Any necessary appointments and documentation must be completed within the required timeframe. Modules may be assigned prior to the start of the assignment. Modules must be completed by the specified deadline on the first day of assignment.
