Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience - Recent acute care experience is required License: - Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications: - NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS are required Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - BSN is highly desired Description: The Cath Lab team performs emergency and elective angioplasty. They provide various therapies such as drug-eluting stents and electrophysiology. The team also participates in pacemaker implantation. Nurses fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing a variety of patient care functions. All tasks are performed in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. On-call duties include working two weekends and fifteen shifts. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
