Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Registered Nurse – West Virginia

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements. Daily caseload of 8-10 cases. Call includes 2-3 weekday nights (7:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM) with rotating first and second call shifts. 2-hour call-back minimum. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
Highlights:
838-bed Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital affiliated with the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems
Comprehensive caseload including diagnostic and interventional procedures, plus structural heart cases
Cerner EMR charting system with 16-hour orientation period
Minimal floating – primarily remain within Cath Lab throughout assignment
Free parking and scrubs provided for travel professionals
Work with 10 specialized teams in a high-volume, acute care environment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience with competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart
Active West Virginia or Compact State RN license (pending license accepted for submission, but active WV license required by start date)
BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Experience as circulator in the lab, moderate sedation, assessment, medications, and pre/post-op care
Must reside 100+ miles from facility (75-99 miles may be considered with approval)
2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
Charge experience preferred
Note: RCIS certification alone does not qualify for this position in West Virginia
