Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,836 per week in Lafayette, IN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a similar role. License: Must have a valid nursing license prior to the start date. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Strong experience with intervention procedures and performing STEMI cases. Experience with interventional cases, EP, and TAVR preferred. Description: The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients undergoing various interventional procedures. Candidates should have experience with procedures such as Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, rotablader usage, and pacemaker/defibrillator device placement. Proficiency in performing stents, thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and PCI is essential. Experience charting in Cerner is preferred. The position requires on-call availability for 10-12 shifts per month, including weekend calls. Nurses will be part of a team caring for adult and geriatric patients with a daily census of 6-10. The ideal candidate will have skills in cardiac mapping, arrhythmia induction, and the ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias. Floating to other areas within the facility is a requirement. Candidates must be able to work during major holidays. Two supervisor references will be required upon application.
