Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 18 months in a Cath Lab setting License: Active nursing license required prior to start date Certifications: ACLS BLS Must-Have: Strong experience with intervention and performing STEMI. Comfortable using EP devices. Experience with interventional cases, TAVR, and EP preferred. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in the Cath Lab. This role requires strong experience in interventions and performing STEMI procedures. Candidates must be comfortable using EP devices. The position involves a day shift of 4x10-hour shifts. The nurse will participate in a call rotation after hours. The call requirement includes 10 shifts per month with weekend call included. Procedures performed in this unit include Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, and stenting. Experience with procedures such as thrombectomy, balloon angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions is essential. Candidates must effectively manage and interpret dysrhythmias. Ability to operate advanced cardiac technologies is required. This role also involves participation in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Interdisciplinary support is available in this unit for patient care. The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics, with a daily census ranging from 6 to 10 patients.
