Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,839 per week in Richmond, VA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of specialized cardiac cath experience required. License: Valid nursing license in compact state must be in hand at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required. - Ability to circulate procedures, monitor procedural sedation, and scrub procedures preferred. - Knowledge of AORN standards. - Candidates must have experience managing ventilators and working with specialized cardiology equipment. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a busy cardiac cath lab. This unit handles 18-25 cases per day. The RN must have experience circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing in a busy lab setting. Procedures include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, biopsies, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral procedures, and structural heart interventions. Familiarity with GE XRay, GE MacLab, Impella, IABP, FFR, iFR, OCT, IVUS, and vascular ultrasound is essential. Candidates will float within scope if needed. A BSN is preferred. Both travelers and permanent staff must be gone for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler. All nursing candidates are subject to review of background checks as required by law. Candidates are required to adhere to the natural nail policy. Additional requirements may include fingerprinting, with expected turnaround for results of 15-20 business days. Candidates are not permitted to start with pending results.
