Experience: Minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment.
License: Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
Certifications: Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.
Must-Have: Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Description:
Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations.
Ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular procedures.
Provide holistic support, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients in a surgical and procedural environment.
Collaborate closely with physicians, offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status before, during, and after procedures.
Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, calibrated, and ready for use.
Manage supplies and inventory, gathering case-specific materials and ensuring the Cath Lab team has everything required for efficient workflow.
Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response to changes.
Continuously assess and document patient condition while they are in the Cardiovascular Lab, maintaining thorough and precise records.
Support quality initiatives, participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
