Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $2,904 per week in Rockford, IL

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience required License: Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: STEMI experience required. IR and Neuro IR experience preferred. Description: The Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for providing care to patients undergoing various procedures. Common diagnoses include STEMI, PCI, diagnostic coronary angiography, structural heart procedures, electrophysiology studies, and peripheral vascular interventions. The RN will work with a team that includes Cath Lab Techs who scrub and monitor cases. This position requires rotation of weekday and weekend call coverage based on departmental staffing needs. Shifts will be Monday through Friday with one rotating day off each week. Floating to different areas within the Cath Lab department may be required. Client-provided surgical scrubs are to be worn during shifts. Orientation will be individualized based on previous experience. The charting system used is Epic. The unit typically manages an average of 5 coronary cases, 1 neuro case, 3 electrophysiology cases, and 16 interventional radiology cases daily.
