Schedule
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours per Shift: 10 hours
- Schedule: 4 days/week (40 hours/week)
- Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call:Required
Unit Information
- Cath Lab: Currently 1 Cath Lab
- Recovery Area: 9-bed pre/post procedure area
- Daily Staffing:
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 2 RCIS
- 3–4 RNs
- Total: 5–6 staff/day (3 staff for elective cases)
- Night Shift: Not operational
Equipment & EMR
- Equipment: Mac Lab, Philips C-Arm
- EMR: CPOE
Procedures
- Diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations
- Pacemaker insertions
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
- Must be willing to take call
- Cath Lab experience required
Dress Code
This is a 40-hour/week, four 10-hour day shift Cath Lab assignment in Reston, VA, primarily supporting cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker procedures with required on-call coverag
