Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

Provide nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions
Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage moderate sedation
Collaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and procedural staff
Maintain accurate documentation throughout all phases of care
Uphold sterile technique and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment

Requirements of the Travel Cardiac Cath Lab RN:

Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac procedures, and emergency response
