Description:
Position for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse available.
Shifts consist of 4x10 hours with a start time of 7:30 AM.
The average daily census is 10-20 cases in 4 labs.
Daily visits are approximately 12.
One year of previous critical care experience is required.
First-time travelers are accepted.
On-call is required every fourth weekend and 1-2 times a week based on department needs.
Floating between facilities may be necessary to meet organizational needs.
An open block schedule may be accommodated depending on availability.
No local candidates accepted beyond a specified radius.
Required skills include Conscious Sedation and Telemetry.
Additional preferred skills include scrub experience and ventilator management.
Competitive experience with endovascular interventions and cardiac procedures is desirable.
The facility is an acute care teaching hospital with a total of 258 staffed beds.
Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with various cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnoses.
Special procedures performed include right heart catheterizations, left heart catheterizations, and various interventional cardiac procedures.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various health service teams.
All candidates must comply with specific requirements for submission and identification.
References from prior supervisors are required during the hiring process.
It is essential for candidates to be promptly available for required background checks and fingerprinting as per state regulations.
