Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: 5 years required License: California Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience required - Community hospital experience required - LTAC experience required - Trauma Level I experience preferred - Trauma Level II experience preferred - Travel experience required Description: Cath Lab Registered Nurse needed. The position requires specific certifications and licenses. Candidates must possess a valid California CRT License. ARRT or CCI RCIS/CCI RCES certifications are also acceptable. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is also necessary. The role involves various technical skills and medical procedures. End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and Activated Clotting Time (ACT) are essential functions. The nurse will perform angioplasties, central line insertions, and numerous other interventions. Emergency medication administration is required. The nurse will need to monitor procedural sedation and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
