Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and recovery
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper equipment setup
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other nurses in a high-acuity environment
- Document patient care accurately and follow facility protocols
- Support pre- and post-procedure patient education and care
Requirements of the Travel Nurse
- Active RN license (New York or compact, if applicable)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
