Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,067 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab/Pre/Post-Op Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 15 months of Cath Lab, critical care, and/or PACU experience in a hospital or medical center setting required. License: Iowa State License required. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: - Work history/resume/employment history must include 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Pre/Post Op Surgery experience. - Skills checklist must be specific to Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Pre/Post Op. - Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS and ACLS required. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab/Pre/Post-Op. The candidate will work in the Cardiac Holding Area. This position entails assisting with patient preparation and recovery for cardiac procedures. Candidates must have experience managing groin and radial sites. TR band management experience is required. Recent or current experience in cardiac Cath or cardiac post-operative care is highly preferred. First-time travelers are welcome with at least 36 months of experience. Candidates must be available to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. The nurse-patient ratio will be 1:3 in the unit. The facility has 19 pre/post rooms. EMR experience with EPIC is required.
