Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,086 per week in Mountain Home, AR

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience required. License: Current RN license in good standing or Compact State Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: - ADN required. - Experience with endovascular interventions, interventional catheterizations, and various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiac and vascular care. Description: You will be responsible for direct patient care in the Cath Lab. You will administer medications and apply sterilization techniques as necessary. You will act as the patient’s advocate during procedures. You will assist the physician with various procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Procedures include cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions. You will handle preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing procedures. You will be required to participate in on-call rotations. You will ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols. You will engage in patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care. You will maintain a safe and sterile environment in the Cath Lab. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. This position is deemed safety sensitive in accordance with relevant regulations governing medical marijuana.
