Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Must have RN license in hand for auto offer. Description: Cath Lab RN position available. Candidates must have a valid RN license in hand. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome. On-call requirement is for one day per week and the 4th/5th weekend. Candidates may float within the department to meet facility needs. Approximately one Saturday per month will be required as part of the scheduled shifts. Must be willing to work weekends as needed. Responsibilities include performing various nursing duties in the Cath Lab. Required skills include activated clotting time management, angioplasty, and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Must have experience with cardiac stent placement and central venous access. Additional skills include emergency medication administration and procedural sedation monitoring. Candidates must be able to handle special procedures and equipment specific to the Cath Lab. Willingness to work during major holidays is required. All candidates must provide at least two supervisory references from recent employment. Housing options should be explored in the area as they may be limited. Completion of required modules is expected as part of the role.
