Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,208 per week in Boston, MA

Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization RN Profession: RN Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: 5 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2+ years of ICU experience, 1+ years of experience as a Cath Lab RN Description: The Cardiac Catheterization RN acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department. This role collaborates fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients. The Cath Lab RN promotes a philosophy of patient and family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and hospital personnel. There is a strong focus on understanding and meeting customer needs. Prior traveler experience is preferred but not required. Support can be provided for either 3 X 12-hour shifts or 4 X 10-hour shifts. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call may be required during the contract, but no weekend or holiday worked shifts will be scheduled. During a 13-week contract, one can expect 1-2 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend (not guaranteed). The lab averages over 30 cases per day. Case types range from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex procedures involving coronary, structural, and vascular interventions. Epic is the primary charting system, and hemodynamic measurements are done on a dedicated system.
