Must-Have:
EPIC experience
Ability to float between different specialties within the lab
Experience with TAVR procedures preferred
Description:
The position requires a Registered Nurse to work in a cardiac cath lab.
The nurse will be responsible for circulating and monitoring patients during procedures.
Sedation administration will be part of the responsibilities, but scrubbing is not required.
Common diagnoses treated include TAVR, Watchman, diagnostic procedures, IABP, left heart catheterization, PFO, and others.
The lab consists of 3 cath labs, one interventional radiology lab, and one electrophysiology lab.
On average, there are 10-12 cases per day.
Nurses must be able to float between all three areas, with a preference for TAVR experience.
Call requirements include being on call 1-2 weeknights and every fourth weekend.
Holiday call may also be required depending on patient needs.
The response time for call is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Unit-specific orientation is provided to ensure familiarity with the department.
