Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab - $3,314 per week in Auburn, NY

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour / Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Hours / 8 Hours Experience: 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience required License: State License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Recent experience within the past year Description: Seeking a Cath Lab Registered Nurse. Candidates must be able to start within the specified timeframe. Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience. Local candidates will be considered as well. Call is required and averaged around 11 to 14 days, including rotating weekend call. Minimum response time for call duties is under 30 minutes. Holiday call expectations include a 24-hour call duty on holidays, on a rotating basis. Nurses must be proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. Responsibilities include performing left heart and right heart catheterizations and pulmonary artery line monitoring. Nurses will administer and monitor procedural sedation. Candidates must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Must have a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care. All requested time off must be included in the initial application. Failure to comply with the requested time off policy may result in cancellation of time off. First-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on experience. Previous travelers are eligible to return if in good standing. Nurses will be responsible for measuring telemetry strips and interpreting cardiac rhythms for telemetry patients. A written assessment on cardiac rhythm interpretation will be part of the onboarding process. Nurses are expected to achieve a minimum passing score on this assessment.
