Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Brick, NJ. In this role, you'll provide exceptional patient care throughout diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while collaborating with physicians and the Cath Lab team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prepare patients before cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Provide nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately.
- Circulate during Cath Lab procedures, including pacemaker insertions.
- Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC.
- Ensure patient safety while following evidence-based nursing practices.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Schedule- Day Shift
- 40 Hours per Week
- On-call required (4 weekday call shifts plus one weekend per month)
- One summer holiday and one winter holiday on-call
- No floating required
- Hospital-provided scrubs
