Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and provide critical care during procedures
- Administer medications and manage sedation as ordered
- Prepare and maintain sterile field and equipment
- Document patient care and procedural details accurately in EPIC
- Provide patient education and emotional support before and after procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Utah or compact state
- 2+ years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Ability to take on-call rotations as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac anatomy and hemodynamic monitoring
- Sterile technique and infection control
- Interpretation of cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
- Catheterization lab equipment and contrast media
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
