Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Cath Lab and EP experience to join a high-performing cardiovascular team. The Cath Lab RN is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. This role includes providing patient care in the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases while adhering to ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.

Schedule:
  • Full-Time
  • 4 x 10-Hour Shifts per Week
  • Rotating weekends
  • Evening/weekend call required
  • 30-minute callback radius applicable
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
  • Circulate during invasive cardiac procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
  • Prepare patients for procedures including assessments, IV access, medication administration, and education.
  • Monitor patients during procedures, including hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and sedation response.
  • Recover and monitor patients post-procedure, assessing for complications and ensuring safe discharge or transfer.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary staff.
  • Administer medications, moderate sedation, and emergency interventions as appropriate.
  • Respond to urgent/emergent cardiovascular situations and assist during code events.
  • Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the medical record.
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support on-call coverage and respond within required callback timeframe.
