Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Location

Akron, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-call required (details discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases within the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
• Maintain compliance with all required competencies and annual education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – permanent Ohio license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (combined experience accepted; preferred within a single location)
• BLS certification – active and in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• ACLS certification – active and in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references are not accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the standard rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Cath Lab / EP location preferred
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity procedural environment
