    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Temp-to-Hire Possibility

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide routine and complex nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, TAVR, and device placements utilizing the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
    • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
    • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
    • Document patient history, symptoms, medications administered, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
    • Assess patient and family learning needs; provide education and identify appropriate resources.
    • Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to effectively manage the clinical situation; participate in on-call rotation as scheduled in collaboration with staff.
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN license in state of employment or valid compact license.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the AHA required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related nursing specialty.
    • Ability to work every third or fourth weekend as required.
    • Availability for on-call shifts as collaboratively scheduled with unit staff.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
    • Experience with cardiac catheterizations, peripheral vascular procedures, TAVR, and cardiac device management.
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care setting.
