Key Responsibilities
As an Cath Lab, RN, you will:
  • Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Assist the interventional cardiologist during the procedures, ensuring the proper use and maintenance of equipment and technology.
  • Monitor patient's vital signs and maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and treatments performed.
  • Administer medications and IVs as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about the cath lab procedures, risks, and recovery process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the cath lab, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with advances in cardiac catheterization techniques and maintain relevant certifications.

Schedule Details:

Day Shift:
Full-time, permanent placement.

Qualifications
  • Valid registered nurse license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing (ADN) with agreed-upon minimum experience requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a cardiac cath lab or related cardiovascular setting.
  • Excellent clinical skills, including the ability to interpret cardiac monitoring systems and administer medications safely.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
