    Job Title

    Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

    Location

    Birmingham, Alabama

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | Call Rotation Required (one call shift per week; one weekend of call per month)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with a 1 team to 1 patient ratio across a 4-lab unit
    • Operate and monitor specialized hemodynamic and cardiac equipment including IABP and Impella devices
    • Perform and assist with laser, Shockwave, and Phillips panning procedures as required
    • Document patient care accurately using Merge Hemo and Epic EMR systems
    • Participate in call rotation including one call shift per week and one weekend of call per month
    • Collaborate as a team player, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, accountability, and timeliness in all aspects of care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
    • Hands-on experience with IABP, Impella, laser, Shockwave, and Phillips panning
    • Ability to meet call rotation requirements as outlined
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitoring system
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR in a cath lab environment
