Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location
Bradenton, Florida
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 28, 2026 | Onsite | Every other weekend and holidays required in rotation
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab with 5 procedure suites, maintaining a 1:3–4 patient-to-staff ratio
Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, pacemaker and ICD implantation, Watchman, TAVR, and EP/ablation procedures
Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator devices
Document patient care accurately using MacLab and Meditech EMR systems
Participate in on-call rotation for emergent cases as required by unit needs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including directors, charge nurses, staff RNs, and cath lab technicians
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
Demonstrated experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Peripheral Vascular (PV) procedures
Proficiency with cath lab-specific equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability to work a 10-hour day shift schedule including every other weekend and holidays in rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and ablation procedures
Familiarity with MacLab and/or Meditech EMR platforms
Experience with advanced interventional devices such as Impella, IABP, or Rotoblator
