Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting 8–10 cases per day
- Perform competently across all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Interventional procedures, including Structural cases
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, rotating first and backup call)
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health record system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs within a short-term acute care, Level IV Trauma Center environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience with demonstrated competency in Diagnostic, Interventional, and Structural procedures
- Active West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must have active WV license in hand prior to assignment start)
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Must maintain a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
- Minimum of 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from within the past 2 years required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- PALS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
