Registered Nurse – EP Lab

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | Onsite | No on-call required | No weekend requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and circulate electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures from start to finish, remaining until procedures are complete
- Monitor and manage procedural sedation throughout EP and cardiac procedures
- Perform Activated Clotting Time (ACT) testing and interpret results to guide anticoagulation management
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including performing cardioversion as indicated
- Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG tracings in support of procedural care
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start date)
- Minimum of 3 years of EP Lab nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid radiation badge (must be provided by the staffing agency; not supplied by the facility)
- Demonstrated proficiency in ACT, cardioversion, procedural sedation monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an EP Lab or Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
