Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
LocationFrisco, Texas
Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM | Onsite | Call requirement of 11–13 days per month, including 2 weekends per month and coverage for 1 winter and 1 summer holiday
Key Responsibilities- Provide skilled registered nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting a two-lab department
- Assist with and circulate procedures including cardiac catheterizations, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for NucMed stress tests
- Operate and monitor equipment including Philips, GE, Pyxis, and MacLab systems
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as assigned
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced or variable-volume environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility and availability to fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled
Preferred Experience / Skills- MacLab monitoring experience (training available)
- Experience circulating EP procedures (training available)
