Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting within an acute care hospital environment
- Assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic health record systems
- Participate in on-call rotation, including evening and weekend call coverage as required by unit needs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care and procedural workflows
- Float between facilities within the state as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand prior to start
- Minimum of 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Must not be a first-time traveler
- Ability to fulfill on-call requirements: approximately 7 days per 2-week pay period, including 2 nights per week and 1 weekend every 2 weeks
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2 or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in a similar acute care setting
- Familiarity with Meditech charting systems
