Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 36 hours guaranteed per week | Evening call required 1–2 times per week after shift | Weekend call 1–2 weekends per month (24-hour call) | Holiday call required
Key Responsibilities
Set up and circulate procedures in a mixed Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology environment across 3 suites averaging 8–10 cases per day
Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients throughout all procedures
Perform hemodynamic monitoring from the control room, maintaining visual contact with the patient through a window and floating between the procedure room and control room as needed
Support a 3-person team model covering left and right heart catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), EP studies, pacemakers, defibrillators, PICC line placements, central lines, Swans, pleurovacs, and stroke interventions
Respond to call within 30 minutes when on-call duties are assigned
Document and chart using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure appropriate for the state of practice
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience in a mixed lab setting
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Demonstrated competency with procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
Ability and comfort working in a control room environment with remote hemodynamic monitoring responsibilities
