Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Monday – Friday | No Weekends or Holidays | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures including Diagnostic Heart Catheterization, PCI, and Cardiac Ablation
- Assist with Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) and Cardioversions
- Support Peripheral Vascular percutaneous procedures, Pacemaker placements, Structural Heart Procedures, and Loop Recorder insertions
- Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry throughout patient care episodes
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC EMR
- Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP nursing experience
- Cardiac Telemetry experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Structural Heart Procedures and EP-related interventions
