Job Title

Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 4 x 9-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Circulate and monitor cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology cases in a combined 2-suite lab averaging 4 cases per day
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients presenting with diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, and pacemaker-related conditions
  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient phone calls
  • Participate in weeknight call (approximately 10 shifts per month) and rotating weekend call (approximately every 3rd weekend covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
  • Participate in shared holiday call coverage (one major summer and one major winter holiday)
  • Respond to call within 30 minutes as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Hands-on cardiac catheterization lab experience
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR and MacLab and/or Siemens equipment
  • Must be within 60 miles of facility and able to meet 30-minute call response time
  • Must be present in state for the full week of orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Interventional radiology (IR) experience or demonstrated willingness to learn IR procedures
  • Experience working in a combined Cath/IR lab environment
